DescriptionAn extensive collection of the ground breaking Automobile Quarterly journal, first published in 1962/3 and for over 30 years a fascinating insight into motor cars and motoring worldwide, without advertising and available to subscribers only. A unique opportunity to purchase 112 hardback copies including many of the early editions, and almost a complete run from 1970 to 1988 (minus a couple of editions). The full list is shown below.The vast majority are in excellent, clean condition for their age and make a fabulous edition to any motoring library – with the opportunity to gradually fill in the small number of gaps.  The scope of articles across the collection is remarkable, with high quality colour photography throughout.The magazine started in Spring 1962 with the sub-title “The Connoisseur’s Magazine of Motoring Today, Yesterday, and Tomorrow” or in the words of the founder—”a cross between The New Yorker and Encyclopedia Britannica in the world of auto mania”. The founder and first editor was L.
