Their flightless mutation makes them simple to use in feeding, as they crawl and hop rather than flying, making them easy to contain and feed out.Supplied as a live culture, these tubs will continue to produce flies for approximately 3 weeks, providing a consistent and renewable food source. They are particularly valuable for species such as dart frogs, day geckos, hatchling chameleons, small salamanders, mantids, and young tarantulas.Feeding:Use feeding tongs or tap flies directly into a smooth-sided feeding dish or enclosure.
