Hazard tactile indicators are used to indicate a hazard, obstacle or public service point in an open space to people who are blind or vision impaired. They are often used at the top and bottom of stairways, ramps and escalators.  Hazard tactiles can be identified under foot, by cane or noticed as a colour contrast to the installed surface.   Hazard tactile indicators can be used in conjunction with directional tactiles to provide a message to pause and consider a change in direction.  Click here to view our range of directional tactiles.
