SparkPlugs disposable metal-detectable earplugs feature enclosed ball bearings which eliminate any exposed metal. The ball bearings and cord are in separate holes so the earplugs remain detectable even if the cord is removed. The cord itself is also metal detectable and coloured bright blue for high visibility.   Ideal for food processing applications, the soft outer part of the earplug is manufactured from extra soft lightweight foam which delivers all-day comfort. Their tapered design enables a snug fit while gently conforming to the ear canal.   These disposable earplugs feature a non-irritating smooth surface and are shaped to fit even very small ear canals.   SparkPlugs deliver Class 5 hearing protection and are rated 29dB in the SLC80 dB(A) range*.   SparkPlugs disposable metal-detectable earplugs are available as corded versions only and are supplied in either boxes or PlugStations.**   Key features of SparkPlugs disposable foam earplugs include: High attenuation for serious protection. Based on the minimum SLC80 rating required for a hearing protector, a Class 1-5 device can be selected.
